Chien- Ming Wang gave up a home run on his first pitch before settling down and tossing 6 2/3 effective innings, and New York extended its winning streak to six games.

Wang (6-3) took the mound after a 20-minute rain delay and saw his first delivery smashed over the right-field fence by Grady Sizemore. He fell behind 2-0 when Aaron Boone hit an RBI single in the second, but was helped out by three double plays and won for the third time in five starts.
