In a recent news article, President Obama "calls $18 billion in Wall Street bonuses 'shameful."' Nice rhetoric, but what will he do about it? Obama is quoted saying: "And part of what we're going to need is for the folks on Wall Street who are asking for help to show some restraint, and show some discipline, and show some sense of responsibility."
Excuse me, but why is President Obama requesting rather than mandating? He is spending my money for goodness sake. His comment seems more of a request. Who's the boss here? Who is managing our money? Who is the president, Obama or Wall Street? This is the same old political stuff.
