Summary
The model homes on the Standard Pacific development called Three Oaks in Walnut are now built and ready for viewing amid much fanfare. For those of you who don't recall the fiasco of this project, it was initially approved by a previous city council (some who are still on board) and then they tried to squash it.
In the process of this, the City Council had guest speakers who were experts on air and ground pollution who had concerns about this development being built so close to a former major toxic dump (BKK Corp.
