I was waiting with great anticipation for the announcement that Rob Castro had been selected for the position of chief of police for the City of Glendora.

I too served with Glendora PD for just over 10 years, from 1992 to 2002, and saw him work his way from agent to lieutenant. He was always at the forefront of promoting and executing new ideas as he worked in many ways to expand his knowledge, formal education and breadth of experiences, both within the agency and with other Los Angeles County policing agencies.
