After stealing five bases in their 9-5 win over the Oakland A's on Saturday night, the Angels went into Sunday tied for the American League lead with 18 steals. Even more impressive is they had been caught only three times, a success rate of 86 percent.

Last season, the Angels led the majors with 143 stolen bases, and were tied for the league lead with a 75-percent success rate. The Angels have only one player, Chone Figgins, who ranked among the league's top 10 last season. And Figgins, with six steals this season, again is the only Angel in the top 10.
