Summary


The process that resulted in the largest turnout of voters in the history of the country has been a long time in developing. It is my belief that society moves in a pendulum fashion between license and decorum.

The '50s certainly were a time that conservative values predominated in this country. But in the '60s the pill was invented and the country went on a sexual spree the likes of which it had never seen. Advocates such as Hugh Hefner spread a gosple of sexual liberation and the nation followed. Then abortion was made legal because even with the pill, accidents happened.
