MONROVIA -- Software firm SeeBeyond Technology Corp.'s fourth- quarter profit jumped more than 400 percent from the prior year, as the company continued to capitalize on its year-long focus on new business growth.

The Monrovia-based developer of software that links disparate computer systems on Tuesday reported quarterly earnings of $3.9 million, or 4 cents per share - up 420 percent from earnings of $759,000, or 1 cent per share, during the fourth quarter of 2003. Total revenues grew 12.1 percent to $45.8 million from $40.8 million a year ago.
