A Chino man broke out a Pasadena woman's sun roof and dragged her body out of a submerged car but was too late to save her from drowning, according to the man's account.
Joan Ja Oden, 67, drove her 2001 Mercedes past the barriers on Euclid Avenue near Route 71 sometime between 8 p.m. and 8:35 p.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Mario Lopez. Euclid was closed because of flooding.See the full content of this document
