- A Southland man and woman are expected to make their initial court appearance Monday stemming from what officials say is the first federal Hurricane Katrina-related fraud case in the nation.

Tino Lee, 44, of Burbank and Gina Liz Nicholas, 19, of Glendale were charged Friday in Los Angeles with a felony count of impersonating someone associated with the American Red Cross for the purpose of soliciting money, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
