HERE at another commemoration of World AIDS Day, which is noted every Dec. 1, the bad news is that there still needs to be such an event to keep the struggle against the deadly epidemic in the public eye.
The good news locally - along with continued steady progress against HIV diseases, progress that began over a decade ago, when for the first time infection was not a death sentence - is that our region continues to be at the forefront of the fight.See the full content of this document
