IN these times of economic meltdown, corporate bailouts and rampant unemployment, it's hard to have a whole lot of hope for the future.
Whittier has suffered its share of grief. Last year alone three of the eight auto dealers in town said sayonara and took down their shingles. Board Ford, Whittier Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Whittier Mitsubishi packed up their sales-tax revenue and left a city that never stops needing the quality services those car sales paid for, including police and fire protection.See the full content of this document
