WEST COVINA - The families of two men killed at a party broke into tears when the City Council and a local businessman offered $75,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

The mothers of Adam Rodriguez, 20, and Robert Ruiz, 23, said Wednesday they were shocked when the $10,000 West Covina Police Chief Frank Wills suggested to the council was increased to $50,000 after Mayor Steve Herfert said $10,000 was not enough.
