Summary


NORWALK - A jury Tuesday convicted a former sanitation districts worker of killing his supervisor, dismembering the body and dumping the remains in a landfill 25 years ago.

The case is unusual because the body of 51-year-old Robert Bennett never has been found. He last was seen Feb. 16, 1983 at the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts plant in the Whittier Narrows.
