It was a rookie finish in the Auto Club Late Models as Justin Lofton held off Travis Thirkettle by .464 of a second and Johnny White to win his first race at Irwindale Speedway Saturday before an estimated 3,800 in attendance.
But, Agoura's Tim Huddleston was an early factor before being sent to the back of the 24-car field after bumping Brian Jones of Thousand Oaks between turns 1 and 2.
