Summary
Once again, the services in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County are sacrificed to fund incorporated cities contracted with L.A. County. I'm referring to the article "Libraries struggle to meet demand" (June 23), which quoted Wendy Romano, assistant director for L.A. Public Library services and her "concerns" about libraries in San Dimas, La Verne and Claremont, all independent cities that contract with Los Angeles County for library services, and their not being able to meet "future" needs.
