Summary
Please take the time to explore the current beauty of hiking to the Fish Canyon waterfalls, because this year will likely be the last year that this trail is so beautiful. You see, the city of Azusa and Vulcan Materials have come to an agreement to literally remove a mountain that is visible from this hike. If the mining is not stopped, the destruction will be irreversible.
While I know the court systems have been actively involved regarding Azusa's and Vulcan's ability to continue their work at the mouth of this canyon, it has been made known to me that the machine that is Vulcan will continue to have their way with this fragile ecosystem.See the full content of this document
