Regarding your article, "Legislators attack MTA plans," (Oct. 22), the letter written by the bipartisan coalition of 15 Congressional leaders pointed out very clearly that the MTA application for federal funding failed to provide regional representation.
The delegation, including Adam Schiff, David Dreier, Howard "Buck" McKeon, Judy Chu, Grace Napolitano, Joe Baca, Jerry Lewis and Gary Miller, recognized that the Los Angeles City-centric MTA Board has historically left the rest of the County - including Glendale and the San Gabriel Valley - out in the cold when it came to sharing funds for transportation projects.See the full content of this document
