Summary
For five years I have been the director of the Interfaith Food Center on Leffingwell Road, which serves Whittier and La Mirada by providing food to hungry area families.
Every month, all year long, 15,000 people come to our door seeking food. Every day the center's volunteers provide simple, healthy, basics such as cheese, bread, soup, vegetables and canned goods to parents and grandparents who would not otherwise be able to feed their families.See the full content of this document
