Given that two prominent Republicans, Sen. Ensign and South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, have admitted to extramarital affairs this past week, can we all agree that one's moral compass is not defined by political affiliation?

Nothing is more exasperating than hearing pundits (liberals and conservatives alike) condemn their counterparts for lack of American values when, in reality, both parties are plagued with individuals who do a horrific job of leading by example.
