PASADENA - An area lawmaker is pushing for a bill that would help bolster state legislative offices science analysis by bringing 10 Ph.D recipients aboard.
The bill, sponsored by Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, D-La Canada Flintridge, would allow for the Ph.D's to be paid for from a state-founded sciene non-profit, rather than paying for them with taxpayer funds, as current law requires.See the full content of this document
