The King of Pop will be honored at 8 p.m. Friday as the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts, 85 E. Holly St., presents a special, free tribute to Michael Jackson as part of the free summer concert series.

Pasadena-based musician Ryan Cross and his group Soul Funk, will perform Jackson hits along with special guest singers. The group has performed and recorded with such artists as Alicia Keys, John Legend, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Yolanda Adams, BeBe Winans, Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Macy Gray and more.
