INDUSTRY -- San Gabriel Valley industrial vacancy rates fell to their lowest levels in four years last quarter, as new construction failed to keep pace with steady demand from distribution and warehousing firms.

Industrial vacancies fell to 3.8 percent of the Valley's building inventories from 4.6 percent during the same period a year ago, according to a a survey released this week by GVA DAUM, a Los Angeles-based real estate brokerage.
