ALHAMBRA - A preliminary hearing for a 20-year-old San Gabriel man charged in a drive-by shooting that left one teen dead and another wounded in December 2006 was postponed and rescheduled for Feb. 5.

Garrett Quon is charged in the murder of 18-year-old Nhi Gip of El Monte and the attempted murder of another man, age 19, whose name was being withheld by authorities to protect him from retaliation.
