Hacienda La Puente Unified schools celebrated Halloween with a wide range of spooky events. Bixby Elementary kicked off the celebration with its Harvest Festival on Thursday. Other local schools were filled with costumed kids on Friday.

Wedgeworth began the day with a costume parade based on the theme "Toy Story: Be Any Toy." It sponsored a family disco night that evening.
