Summary
It was with some shock, anger and sadness that I just learned of the impending Nov. 5 closure of the San Gabriel Valley Gun Club. The Gun Club was where my son and I first did our target shooting together.
I knew something was up when the city of Azusa allowed a high density housing development to be built on the former paintball gun ranch, in spite of the fact that they must have spun the Environmental Impact Report to allow so many houses and so many cars with so much potential for polluting the San Gabriel River to be built right at the mouth of the canyon. But they got away with it. And what did those newcomers do? They complained about the noise and "danger" of a gun range nearby, ignoring, as all newcomers do these days, who or what was there first.See the full content of this document
