GLENDORA - City officials don't necessarily want their town to look like a resort, but they do want residents to keep their homes looking nice.

To get there, the Community Preservation Division of the Police Department has been more willing to take matters into their own hands. Since 2008, the city has grabbed trash, pulled weeds and repainted peeling outer walls at 25 Glendora properties.
