The Greater San Gabriel Valley (including the Pasadena and Whittier areas) has long been a hotbed of baseball talent. From Jackie Robinson and Ralph Kiner to Mark McGwire and Cecil Fielder to Jim Edmonds and Michael Young, the area has continued to produce quality major league players.

I'll take a team made up of current major leaguers who attended local high schools and put them up against any team in the majors today. Here are my area all-stars, in their batting order:
