Summary
RICHARD RAMIREZ, the so- called Night Stalker, was convicted on 43 counts, including 13 murders, five attempted murders, sexual assaults and burglary in the San Gabriel Valley, Whittier, San Francisco and Orange County in 1989. His reign of terror ended Aug. 30, 1985, 20 years ago, as chronicled by Staff Writer Ruby Gonzales in our front-page story of Aug. 28.
