Summary
I feel that the process most in keeping with our democratic traditions is to have an election to fill the Whittier City Council vacancy. An election is the most fair and open means of choosing our representatives.
The person who fills that seat may very well be the deciding vote on the important issues that will impact our city for years to come, including the development of the Nelles site, among others.
