The lenders who won Philadelphia's two major newspapers at a bankruptcy auction are assembling a board of directors and hope to preserve as many jobs as possible, the executive designated to head the newspaper group said. Greg Osberg, former publisher of Newsweek, said he will answer to a board that will likely include representatives of local businesses, academics and others.
