Our so-far mild summer is one reason Southern California is such a great place to live. We can live in flip flops and our barbecue grills are used for months and months.

All West Covinans are invited to a Wet and Wild Summer BBQ from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Cameron Park Community Center, 1405 E. Cameron Ave.
